How To Submit Choral Scores....

It is the goal of The Master Singers, Inc. Chorale of Northeast Ohio to give premiere performances of choral works written by aspiring Foreign and/or American composers.   To that end we will be officially accepting compositions for possible inclusion in one of our three yearly concerts performance.  MSI wants to premiere as many new composers as is possible given our limited concert performances.  Shorter compositions are welcomed.  Please read the following rules for submitting compositions.  

Choral Compositions

          1.     All compositions must be written and submitted as (stand alone) A Cappella works

          2.     Only piano or organ accompaniment is acceptable and a keyboard part must be provided

          2.     A keyboard reduction of voice parts is expected

          3.     Text must be in Latin or English

          4.     Music must be typeset in  FINALE ^®  and must be submitted both in hard copy and on CD-ROM

          5.     Choral Music must be formatted for OCTAVO size paper (6.875/10.5)

          6.     Voicing cannot exceed SSAATTBB

          8.     Length of composition cannot exceed 5 minutes

          9,     Scores will only be returned if you send appropriate self addressed and postage paid return materials

          10.    All texts must be copyright free or have proper author verification
