The Cleveland Brass Quintet

The Cleveland Brass Quintet (formerly the Bethany Brass Quintet) in Cleveland, OH is made up of Erik Hasselquist and Stephen Chapdelaine (trumpet), Meghan Guegold (french horn), Jason Smith (trombone), and Kenneth Heinlein (tuba).

Established in 2005, the Cleveland Brass Quintet is a young and exciting musical group that is quickly establishing itself in Northeast Ohio and beyond. The CBQ performs at everything from commencement services and weddings to full concert recitals.

The members of the the Cleveland Brass Quintet perform regularly with some of Cleveland’s most prestigious musical organizations, including the Cleveland Orchestra and the Burning River Brass. Furthermore, they hold section and principal positions in the Akron and Canton Symphony Orchestras as well as CityMusic Cleveland. Finally, as artists committed to the development of the next generation of musicians, the members of the CBQ teach at Cleveland State University and Case Western Reserve University as well as teaching privately to high school and middle school students from around the area.
